This is temporary. The confusion, the pain, the anger, the detachment. You will feel something again. It comes in waves, and you know it. This is only the falling tide.

Your fears are valid, but you can’t let them keep you from living life.

Your pain is valid, but you can’t use it as a reason not to face your challenges.

Your past is valid, but you can’t keep letting it keep you from your future.

You’re so bad about sweeping things under the rug, bottling up your pain, avoiding facing hurtful realities. You convince yourself if you keep doing that, it’ll never catch up to you, but it has. It did. Welcome to reality.

Procrastinating pain does not resolve it.

It’s okay to cry and hurt because if you don’t you’ll never learn how to heal.

And maybe just maybe you’re tired of being broken.
